How do I Search for Properties?
View All Properties
Just click the View All Properties button at
the top of the page. All of the properties currently offered for sale
will be displayed. Scroll down, click on properties for which you would
like more details. Order any information you would like, then go back
to the View All Properties and look for more!
You can also order Data Collection. A Standard Property Report is available
on every property. With one click, you will be able to download a memorandum
provided by the seller that includes the following:

Historical production and decline curve suitable for use in your in-house reservoir engineering program.
This file will be sent to you as an e-mail. Once downloaded, you can print
it on your printer. A complete package will print saving hours preparing
internal memorandums.
How to Sell
Interested in Selling a property? It’s easy. You tell us about the property. We both sign a Seller's Contract. We prepare the information for the site and to be distributed to qualified buyers based on information that you supply us and the property gets sold!. How much does it cost to sell?
Fees for selling are dependent upon the services you choose to use and the size of the property you are selling. The Total Sales Fee is broken out into two areas, Package Preparation Fees and Marketing and Sales Fees.
Package Preparation Fees
In all cases, OilProperties.com would meet with you, go over the information you have available and discuss a sales package. OilProperties.com would then give you a written contract describing the package to be delivered and a cost estimate with a price cap.
Example 1: If you have a non-operated working interest in 20 wells and only check stubs, additional work would need to be done in order to interest any reputable seller. We can assemble a sales package for you and distribute it to the buyers who frequent OilProperties.com. A typical Package Preparation Fee range for properties of this type is $500-$2,000.
Example 2: If you have a royalty interest in one well and a recorded Assignment or Mineral Deed and one check stub. The typical Package Preparation Fee range for properties of this type is $50-$250.
Example 3: If you have an operated property with 50 or more wells, complete financial data, complete production data, complete land data and an old reserve report, it will probably take between two to three weeks to prepare the group of packages necessary to maximize the sales price of your property. Based on our experience, the Package Preparation Fee range for properties of this type is $2,000-15,000.
Marketing and Sales Fee
A Marketing and Sales fee is a part of every transaction sold by OilProperties.com. It is a percentage of the sales price of the property based on the successful conclusion of the sale of a property. Below is a table illustrating the ranges for various transaction sizes.

The Marketing and Sales fee is paid only upon the successful completion of a sale. Prior to offering a property for sale, a Sales Contract would be executed by both parties. Part of this contract is the establishment of a Minimum Acceptable Sales Price.

What do I do if I forget my password?
If you have forgotten your password, send an email to info@OilProperties.com, including your username and phone number. You will be contacted to verify your identity and we will reset your password.
How can I change my user name or contact information?
Choose 'Register' from the Main Menu. Update the information you wish to change, then choose the Register button at the bottom of the page. This will send OilProperties.com your updated information.
